ABOUT WMC
WMC is a social enterprise focusing on recycling waste and contributing to corporates and society action towards maximizing the use and lifetime of certain materials and reducing the use of new materials in production processes.
WMC was established in late 2019 and has developed a unique operating model in the field of waste management in Egypt; WMC focuses on municipal waste collection for purposes of recycling valuable waste, specifically PET bottles, other plastics, paper, cardboard and aluminum.
WMC operates abiding by local regulations: It is registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has approvals from Cairo Cleaning & Beautification Authority , the Ministry of Environment, and the Waste Management Regulatory Authority.
